    Join Master Woodcarver, John Engler, and a talented group of instructors for a unique, hands-on seminar that celebrates the art of woodcarving and traditional crafts. This multi-day event offers classes in relief carving, caricature carving, wood burning, bird carving, busts, hand mirrors, and more.

    Our instructors are experienced artists and craftspeople, each bringing their own unique style and passion to the seminar. From master carvers to skilled quilters and wood burners, they offer patient, step-by-step guidance in a relaxed and supportive setting.

    Comfortable lodging is available just minutes from the seminar. Attendees can choose between a conveniently located hotel or a nearby RV park, both offering easy access to the event and a welcoming place to relax after a full day of carving and crafting.

Schedule of Events

Monday the 17th through Friday the 21st, the building will open at 8:00 am.  Breakfast and Lunch serving times will be announced at a later date.  Classes are in session from 8:30 am to 12 Noon & from 1:00 to 4:30 pm.  Clean-up begins from 4:30 to 5:30 pm after classes are over.  Building closes at 5:30 pm.

SUNDAY the 15th:
Instructors and Vendors check-in.  Set-up times will be announced at a later date. Please help as it is a lot of work for just a few.  Contact Loren or John to volunteer.


SEMINAR DINNER
There will be a kickoff dinner on Sunday evening, March 15, 6:00PM at a cost of $23.00 per person.  The menu will consist of beef and/or chicken.  This is the perfect time to meet your instructor, make new friends, and renew old friendships.  Join us and have some fun.  There will be a cash bar.  The hall will open at 5:00 for the cash bar. You must sign up to attend this function by March 1, 2025 because the chef relies on the count for preparation.  No exception!.

MONDAY the 16th:
Student registration - 7:00 to 9:00am.  

Classes begin 8:30 am and end at 4:30 pm

TUESDAY the 17th: Classes begin 8:30 am end at 4:30 pm

WEDNESDAY the 18th: Classes begin 8:30 am end at 4:30 pm

THURSDAY the 19th: Classes begin 8:30 am end at 4:30 pm

 FRIDAY the 20th: Classes begin 8:30 am end 4:30 pm
